Problem
28,000,000,000
Glass bottles and jars are thrown away and buried for a year
1,000,000
years are taken for glass to decompose
Every year, India alone generates 3 billion kg of glass waste, of which only 35% is recycled. Glass bottle waste contributes approximately 3.3 million kg of glass waste in India each year.
So the big question is, what happens to the glass bottle waste that isn't recycled?

Proposing Amphora
Amphora provides a platform for recycling units to obtain waste glass bottles from nightclubs and offers a wide range of exclusive products made from recycled glass materials.
Amphora provides a platform for recycling units to obtain waste glass bottles from nightclubs and offers a wide range of exclusive products made from recycled glass materials.
How it would work?
Collection of bottles
Building an app for nightclub owners so that they can request pickup of waste bottles in exchange for some cash.
Logistics
Careful transportion to recycling center.
Recycling of Bottles
Crushing bottles using an industrial crusher. This way glass is converted to fine dust, ready to be rebuilt stronger.
Converting to luxury items
With the use of a furnace and moulding equipment, we would give the glass a new form, and build them into attractive glass products.
Selling on Amphora
The main Amphora e-commerce app is designed to sell these luxury glass products to the desired audience
