Problem

28,000,000,000

Glass bottles and jars are thrown away and buried for a year

1,000,000

years are taken for glass to decompose

Every year, India alone generates 3 billion kg of glass waste, of which only 35% is recycled. Glass bottle waste contributes approximately 3.3 million kg of glass waste in India each year.

So the big question is, what happens to the glass bottle waste that isn't recycled?

How it would work?

Group 1321314097.png

Collection of bottles
Building an app for nightclub owners so that they can request pickup of waste bottles in exchange for some cash.

Group 1321314099.png

Logistics
Careful transportion to recycling center.

Recycling of Bottles
Crushing bottles using an industrial crusher. This way glass is converted to fine dust, ready to be rebuilt stronger.

Converting to luxury items
With the use of a furnace and moulding equipment, we would give the glass a new form, and build them into attractive glass products.
